Free to the public, the event supports original art and music by over 125 juried fine artists and craftspersons and four stages of “live” music and entertainment. I was digging the sounds of The Juicy Grapes who took the Washington & Water Street Stage and crowd by storm. T’s vocals rocked and Steve DeFala’s sax wailed on Skinny Dippin’.  Joe Tripuzzi (bass), Jim McKeeman (guitar), Bruce Hammer (drums) and Chris Strange (keys) rounded out the driving rock/soul sound and collective vocals. Check ‘em out August 8th at the Old Bay in New Brunswick, NJ and August 29th at the Acoustic Cafe in Bridgeport/Black Rock, CT.

Other performers in the 3-day lineup include David K, Kristin Hoffman, Tangled Vine, Dre Towey, Tom Weber, Rick Reyes & The Pasofino Club, Kersten Stevens, Melvin Sparks, The Durkins, Sounds of Afrika, PJ Pacifico, Liquid Sister.

Definitely check out Dorie Colangelo August 3rd at the Rockwood Music Hall in NYC. She’s a musical treat.
