Mix Foo Fighters, Muse and Dandy Warhols together, add some additional progressive ingredients and you’ve got Backnbloom, the Los Angeles based band in which Lori Steele is the singer, violinist and songwriter. Her striking vocals and haunting violin have rocked such legendary venues as the Key Club and Viper Room in Los Angeles and the Sundance Festival crowd in Park City. Recently forming her own band has allowed Lori to express her sound the way it was intended: deeply personal lyrics carried by driving guitars, melodic timbre and complex, sonic layers. It’s her passion to create music that inspires and pulls the listener into a world of escape – sans any preachy pretense – because we’ve all “been there”.
In addition to Lori’s impressive path as a musical artist, she is also an innovative, creative professional with a decade of successful marketing experience with companies like New Line Cinema, Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, Matrixx Pictures, AM Productions and Management and her own venture: 4Front Entertainment Marketing Group. She has orchestrated the activities of agents, film/TV producers and tour managers, integrated brands in major lifestyle events, TV and new media ventures and managed several film projects.
